Director: Francis Ford Coppola
Writers: Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola
Actors: Al Pacino, Diane Keaton and Andy Garcia
My guess: 7,9? - 1991? (7,6 - 1990)
My Points: 7,4 - 4-/5
Well, this was a little bit better - than the second movie. But not the best, this was also far way from the original part one.
The new character; Andy "Vincent Mancini" GarcĂa did a nice job advancing the mob ladder.
Al "Michael Corleone" Pacino's heart attack were nice. I don't mean, it was "nice" - but good plot twist.
The "horse cop" shootout at the parade was nice.
This movie seemed to have a point, in the second movie - it was just pointless. This one was intresting all the time, 'cause of the good point.
Michael Corleone's confession was nice, him sobbing about.
But Michael wasn't "godfatherly like", he wondered around almost alone. There wasn't much of security guard. Or maybe they were hidden, or it has his "own" village. Don't know.
But in the first movie, Marlon "Don Vito Corleone" Brando really feel'ed like a godfather - Michael on the hand (in this third movie); NOT!
At the end half, the opera - it was a little bit too long, and boring... But the ending of the movie were kinda nice!
But overall, a pretty satisfying movie - not the best, but not the worst.
So the first one was easily the best (grade: 7,8), then came this - the third one (grade: 7,4) and the second one was the worst (grade: 7,2).
But overall, a pretty damn good trilogy. Will they ever made more of these, I don't think so... But maybe a reboot, that would be possible.
But I'm afraid, that it (reboot) would be a shitty one - so hopefully they don't make it...
This is just good, as it is now - a nice trilogy!
