Movie review - The Black Phone

The Black Phone

Director: Scott Derrickson

Actors: Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw and Ethan Hawke

My guess: 6,8? - 2021? (6,9 - 2021)

My Points: 7,0 - 3,5/5

I aint got lots to say, about this movie. It's hard to review this, don't know what other people have got to say about this one.

All I can say, is that this got a nice cast. I liked everyone, they weren't super - but good at least.

The atmosphere was frightening, and good - at it was intended.

Ethan Hawke's costume was nice.

That's all I got to say, the grade you can see above - that's it!

Movie review - Trauma Center

Trauma Center

Director: Matt Eskandari

Actors: Nicky Whelan, Bruce Willis, Tito Ortiz and Texas Battle

My guess: 2,9? - 2019? (4,0 - 2019)

My Points: 3,8 - 2/5

"Trauma Center", this movie get me trauma...

I had to watch and review of this, 'cause of earlier movie (Breach) what I reviewed from Bruce Willis. This kinda s**t is fun to watch, or is it...?

Well Breach had some entertaining value, but this was just painful to watch. But I gave this movie better grade, 'cause this was a little bit better. But Breach was more enjoyable to watch.

The acting were very lazy, expecially from Bruce Willis. Don't know what has got to him?! Although we know now, he's sick...

And everybody who watches he's latest movies, get very sick also!

The movie concentrate way too much on the empty hospital and to the "cat & mouse" game. It was very boring, and stupid!

The woman ("Madison") got away way too much, and easily. Or are cops just so stupid and clumsy, this doesn't give good appreciation to them.

It was just so damn boring to watch, Madison wobble through the aisle. This movie is a good "sleeping pill".

How did Madison climb in to the vent? She's other leg was bleeding. O'h yes, she did use a table, but anyhow - it look way to high to climb with a broken leg.

And the Madison's hair, in mint condition all the way. What conditioner does she use, I would be interested.

But there were something good in the movie; the music. Although, it was way too good - for carbage like this! And the movie has it moments, but altogether a very bad movie - which I definately NOT recommend!

Except if you wanna torture yourself. Or you are a huge Bruce Willis fan. But all he's latest movies are so bad, that... I'm lost of words! Avoid, at any cost!

Instead of this (or other Willis nowadays shitty movies), watch Die Hard (1988) - that is an very awesome movie! Well, I oughta also watch (and review) that - for the hundred time!

Movie review - Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider

Director: Roar Uthaug

Actors: Alicia Vikander, Dominic West and Walton Goggins

My guess: 6,0? - 2018? (6,3- 2018)

My Points: 6,2- 3/5

What a dissapoint of a movie. Although Alicia Vikander were pretty good, but that's the only this movie got...

Or maybe instead this got a couple of good parts, like the boat in the storm scene. And the "waterfall-plane" scene were pretty cool.

Walton Goggins was a pretty as a bad guy. And Nick Frost was kinda funny.

But that's all, the rest was s**t!

The puzzle's - what puzzle's? Lara Croft solved them in matter of seconds, boring...

I got nothing else to say, nothing good - or even bad. This was just a boring mess. I sincerely hope, that this travesty doesn't get a sequel. What a boring movie...

Movie review - The Sentinel

The Sentinel

Director: Clark Johnson

Actors: Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Basinger, Eva Longoria and David Rasche

My guess: 6,8? - 2016? (6,1- 2006)

My Points: 7,2 - 3,5/5

From 7,7 points to 7,2 points, what a shame.

So this started good, it was very interesting - but the further we got, the boring it came. I indeed was going to give this about 7,7 points, but...

What a "pancake".

The actors were pretty damn good, and interesting. I'm not gonna mention them separately, 'cause they were equally good. You can find the actors on top of this review.

Although I gotta mention Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland, they're chemistry were damn good!

The movie proceed pretty good, and was exciting. Until this movie lost the grip, it became kinda boring... Which was a pity, 'cause this movie had high hope to be good.

So afterall, pretty strong beginning - but about the half way, this kinda started to suck. What a pity indeed...

Movie review - The Accountant

The Accountant

Director: Gavin O'Connor

Actors: Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal and John Lithgow

My guess: 6,7? - 2017? (7,3 - 2016)

My Points: 7,2 - 3,5/5

Ben Affleck was very good at hes role, in this pretty good movie! His blank face character were very nice (expecially the bank clerk), there always don't need to be emotions.

But only the other actors were emotional. Like Simmons, he were pretty good at telling stories. Lithgow was also pretty good.

Then there were Jon "Shane Walsh" Bernthal, I have always liked him. Although he hasn't done any major role, but what I have seen of him (expecially TWD) - he's good!

Affleck counting the documents were nice, what a genious dude. The action scenes were also cool, reminded me alot of John Wick (2014). But gotta say, that nowadays there are way too much on this kinda action movie. When this (and JW) came, it was new. But now it has been wearn off, sadly!

Minigun was nice, but sadly we didn't see it blasting off! From Predator (1987) and T2 (1991) I have always liked it...

But afterall, pretty damn nice movie. Expecially cause I dont kinda like Affleck (although it has settle down, about ten years ago I could't tolerate him...)! But when he does movie like this, then thumbs up for him - and a thumb up for this movie also.

Movie review - Austin Powers in Goldmember

Austin Powers in Goldmember

Director: Jay Roach

Actors: Mike Myers, Beyoncรฉ, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Seth Green

My guess: 6,9? - 2003? (6,2 - 2002)

My Points: 7,4 - 3,5/5

Yea, this was/is the best Austin Powers movie - at least in my mind! The cameos (Tom Cruise, Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito and Steven Spielberg) were cool, and funny.

The mole scene(s) was very good, I liked it also for the first time I saw this movie - it was hilarious already then.

Preparation H was funny. Beyoncรฉ was good and sexy, as was the rest of the old cast (but not sexy, lol). Mike Myers, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Seth Green, all good.

Then there were couple of new characters, like Austin's father Michael "Nigel Powers" Caine - who were pretty damn funny. Then there were a new bad guy, Goldmember. He was funny as hell, also. Collecting his piece of skin, so freaking funny!

Fat Bastard was also in this movie, very good character. Seth "Scott Evil" Green was yet again funny, as in the other movies. His loosing hair was funny.

The Austin's pissing scene were good, eating asparagus while peeing and room starting to smell, was funny. The fighting scene between Austin and Mini Me was good.

Ozzy Osbourne's cameo was cool.

The fake outfit by Austin and Mini Me was funny, when Mini Me was the legs - so hilarious. Urin sample was damn funny, as was - yet again (as in the second movie), the "shadow game".

John Travolta at the end, nice! So, very good film at all, deserves the title of "best Austin Powers movie", definately! Although the first movie was fresh and new when it came up, but I have always liked this one.

There may come a fourth movie, cant wait to see it. When/if it comes, it's only a rumor. May it become the best? Well, maybe - why not...

P.S. Review of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).

Movie review - Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

Director: Jay Roach

Actors: Mike Myers, Heather Graham, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Seth Green

My guess: 6,2? - 1999? (6,6 - 1999)

My Points: 6,5 - 3/5

Well, this wasn't as good as the first movie - but this still were pretty damn hilarious movie.

The "nude thing" was yet again funny, not as funny as in the first time (for the first time) - but...

Jerry Springer bit was funny, I liked it. "Mini-Me" was also funny character, by the awesome Verne Troyer. As was "Fat Bastard" (funny character).

The acting seemed a little bit "lazy", like they already have done this before. Well, this was a sequal - and pretty same idea as in the first one. Maybe they were "tired"... Goldmember (2002) haven't got this problem, maybe a little break were good (although between this and the first movie, there were quite the same break, as this and the third movie)!

The "three question guy" (Will Ferrell) were funny (he were also in the first movie, funny also in that)!

Heather Graham, damn sexy! But I like Liz more. But then comes Heather (in order of sexiness), Beyoncรฉ is the worst (in the third movie). Although, can you say that - cause she's pretty goddamn sexy! But the two others are hotter, so...

The "shadow bit" was funny, I have always liked that one.

Seth "Scott Evil" Green was hilarious as the "serious sarcastic" guy - just like in the first movie. I liked him, always have.

And ofcourse you have to mention Mike Myers. He did yet an excelent work in this one, as he did in the first movie.

So, good and funny movie - but the first one was better. I'm not sure is the third one the best, but... Well, that we will know in a couples of days.

P.S. Review of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)  and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002).

Movie review - Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Director: Jay Roach

Actors: Mike Myers, Elizabeth Hurley, Michael York and Seth Green

My guess: 6,9? - 1996? (7,0 - 1997)

My Points: 7,3 - 3,5/5

This is a very funny film, I like this one. The other sequal are also very funny, but I think that this might be the best one. It will be figured out in a couples of days, when I watch and review the sequals.

Mike Myers ofcourse where the best part of this movie, as he played the part of main title Austin Powers, and Dr. Evil. Very funny role, from a funny guy.

Elizabeth Hurley, what can you say? Except; very sexy. Me likes - me likes a very much! Sadly that her career didn't get much wind, I have always liked her. For example Bedazzled (2000) was a good film, but I cant name another film where Liz was (except the sequal to this movie)! That is sad...

The classic "one million dollar" was funny, as it always has been. You just don't get bored of this movie, this is so hilarious every time.

The toilet scene was funny, as was the "nude thing" (something always blogging the adult parts). Therapy (between Dr. Evil and Scott Evil) was also funny, as was the "hypnosis" (Austin hypnosising the guard) scene.

Seth "Scott Evil" Green was damn funny, I liked him/his character alot!

That was also funny, that the bad guy didn't watch the good guy to die. Good James Bond parody!

The "truck stuck" were very funny, I laughted my a** off!

Afterall, a very good - and expecially funny, movie! Which I definately recommend, if you wanna laugh. If you don't laugh even one time with this movie, I dont know what is wrong (with you, or the movie)?! Very funny movie, cant wait to see the sequals for a quite some time...
