Movie review - Austin Powers in Goldmember

Austin Powers in Goldmember

Director: Jay Roach

Actors: Mike Myers, Beyoncé, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Seth Green

My guess: 6,9? - 2003? (6,2 - 2002)

My Points: 7,4 - 3,5/5

Yea, this was/is the best Austin Powers movie - at least in my mind! The cameos (Tom Cruise, Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito and Steven Spielberg) were cool, and funny.

The mole scene(s) was very good, I liked it also for the first time I saw this movie - it was hilarious already then.

Preparation H was funny. Beyoncé was good and sexy, as was the rest of the old cast (but not sexy, lol). Mike Myers, Michael York, Verne Troyer and Seth Green, all good.

Then there were couple of new characters, like Austin's father Michael "Nigel Powers" Caine - who were pretty damn funny. Then there were a new bad guy, Goldmember. He was funny as hell, also. Collecting his piece of skin, so freaking funny!

Fat Bastard was also in this movie, very good character. Seth "Scott Evil" Green was yet again funny, as in the other movies. His loosing hair was funny.

The Austin's pissing scene were good, eating asparagus while peeing and room starting to smell, was funny. The fighting scene between Austin and Mini Me was good.

Ozzy Osbourne's cameo was cool.

The fake outfit by Austin and Mini Me was funny, when Mini Me was the legs - so hilarious. Urin sample was damn funny, as was - yet again (as in the second movie), the "shadow game".

John Travolta at the end, nice! So, very good film at all, deserves the title of "best Austin Powers movie", definately! Although the first movie was fresh and new when it came up, but I have always liked this one.

There may come a fourth movie, cant wait to see it. When/if it comes, it's only a rumor. May it become the best? Well, maybe - why not...

P.S. Review of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).
